Hip Hop in Paris. 2018

Being my first time in Paris and not knowing the language, Hip Hop culture became a way for me to connect with city and its young people. I love the music and it is a strong part of my personal identity. Rap music as a form of self expression exposes their sensibilities, attitudes and energised charisma in a way that nothing else can replicate. These young men welcomed me into their way of life and world and soon the camera became invisible to them.
